Help Battery issue

Hello.

I'm either having an issue with the phone reporting the battery percentage, or a problem with the battery. The phone goes dead quickly when not in use. For example, at about 9 am this morning I turned the phone off with a full battery. When I returned at 2:30 pm and turned the phone on, it had only 10% battery left!

I took the battery out thinking it might need to discharge to show the real battery amount left, but it is still reporting 10%. Any ideas how I can stop this from happening short of leaving it on a charger all night? I've never had a phone do this before, but I once had a Sansa mp3 player do it.

Did you just buy the phone? When you get a new battery, you need to let it charge for a long time since the battery has probably been discharging in the box for a while.

Since the premia just came out, I doubt the battery is old or worn.

Did you perhaps not turn the phone off but just think you did?
