Hi, I'm having some strange issues with battery life and my HTC switching itself off and wondered if anyone had similar experiences?
First time was trying to access public wifi and it just switch the phone off and refused to come back on fully again (powered on, then off again, either immediately or after a few seconds, but never reaching the home screen) - even removing the battery and sim card didn't help.
After a few hours it was fine again, but a few weeks later the same thing happens.
Now it seems to take 12+ hours to charge the battery, and then it drains very quickly - today it was dead after 5 hours, but I plugged it in and it shows as full again straight away?
It seems most likely the be the battery as it is quite old, but the phone is well looked after - any ideas or is it likely the be the phone itself?
Does anyone know where I can get a genuine battery and be sure it isn't a cheap knock-off/fake?
