Just brought an s3 mini as they were in my price range for a new phone. I am pleased with it apart from poor battery life! My battery doesnt even last a day! My phone before this was a htc desire s and even in that phones last days the 3 year old battery lasted at least a day! And i have been busy at work to and havent even been browsing the internet as much as i normally would! Any help is welcome but im also goin use this thread as a place to note my battery details so that you other s3 mini users can compare yours to mine. Oh i also have brought a spare battery from ebay and i will swap over to that one after a few days.
Battery 1.lowest screen brightness possible. Nothin on except screen rotation and mobile data (wifi, gps sync bluetooth e.t.c off) apps ive got downloaded facebook,whatsapp,my galaxy,color note.
00.05am vibrate mode, alarm set for 7.20, battery 75%
8.00am battery 72% (3% decrease overnight. fair enough)
4.00pm battery 57% (since 8 a 15% decrease whilst at work 8hrs, 3 received txts, 1 sent, a couple of turning screen on and off to see if id missed a text)
7.00pm battery 39% (since 4 a 18% decrease, 3 or 4 views of facebook)
8.00pm battery 15% (since 7 a 24% decrease, suprised, biggest drop all day unsure why as not used at all)
8.10pm battery 9%
8.25pm battery 4%
9.13pm looked at phone and its turned off, unsure when from 8.25pm
9.00am battery 100%
9.25am battery 85% ????? didnt use it in those 25 mins
11.20am battery 75%
6.15pm Battery 64% 7 hours there 11% drop, some facebook browsing, pleased with that
8.40pm battery 37%
00.00am battery 20%
00.15am battery 15% but then turned off on me when on facebook in bed
at the minute it seems to drop quickly from 100% but then stay steady around 70/60/50% and then can turn off anytime from 15%
