I got the M9 the weekend before last. It is an awesome phone. Except for battery life and problems I caused for myself (see my other thread.

) I know battery problems have been brought up in about every single review there is.
Using Jump!, I traded in my Samsung S5 on the M9. I don't regret the trade at all. But I have a question or two.
With the S5 I could go 2 days without having to put it on the charger. And when I did, it still was at about 40%. With the M9, I have to charge it every day. I am running the same apps on the M9 that I was running on the S5. If anything, I'm running less apps on the M9 than I was on the S5. Both phones had/have Lollipop. Last night when I went to bed, the phone was at about 40%. Six hours later when I got up, the battery was STONE COLD DEAD. I'm not sure what was running in the background, if anything, but dang!!
Since I am running the same apps and have the same operating system, what is it about the M9 that causes such a HUGE difference in battery drain?
