Help Battery Life Queston

When I first got my phone I was going 44-48 hours in between charges. Since, I got the new operating system update I am going 32-36. The only difference with the phone is that the Android OS is usually around 80% on battery usage and was at 30% before the update. Do i have a setting turned on or is anyone else having this problem?

Any solutions on getting the android OS back to a normal percentage? It is absolutley killing my battery. This all started with the new system update I recieved last week. I hope to find a fix before I try a factory reset. Any suggestions?
 
While everyone has a varying opinion on the matter, I have always done a hard factory reset and after it reboots I do a factory reset from the options in settings after I receive an OTA. I've done this since my BB days back in '08 and did it when I got my Droid X launch day July 2010. My Droid X still works well and while it is a hassle to set up again, I feel more comfortable doing so. I recommend you do so as well to see if it fixes your problem. I'll be doing so when I set up my sisters Razr Maxx tomorrow afternoon.
 
I finally had time to do a factory reset on Saturday and it worked for a day. Sunday it went back to doing the same thing. Called Verizon and they sent me to moto help. First time they have had this complaint and said they would get back to me in 24-48 hours.
