If you are a heavy user (like me) then that is one of the few reasons you have to charge it so often. Another reason is that you may just have a defective battery and you may need to replace it (this is a common thing with these batteries). I currently have six extra batteries and zero battery stress.

I really don't think there is any way to reduce battery consumption other than to have the device charging at all times. Or get one or two extra batteries.
