Battery life

I have a droid 2 and my wife has the same. her battery last 2 days and mine last 6 hours. My phone is always hot so I know its doing a lot of computer stuff, but I don't know what it is doing or how to make it stop so the battery will last longer.

Hello Phil. Welcome to Android Forums. If your Droid 2 is running hot most of the time, it's likely you have a runaway app. Something that's trying to connect to the web and can't or something. You can likely go into your settings and look to see what's running and draining your battery. You can force stop it from running but it will start again. If it's something you've installed you will want to remove it.. and perhaps install it again and watch it.

I'm sure it's because you have more applications (including widgets), and you are on your phone more often than hers. Battery life has been one of the most annoying problems on these smart phones. I'm not sure if there are any permanent solution for this. Nonetheless, you can stop by your device's support area for some cool info and tips on your device.
