Battery Life?

We dropped our land line when we got our RAZR and had the number ported. What I'd like to know now is, If I leave the phone on all the time (as you would if it was your landline) how long should my battery last? (I charge it as it runs down, but leave it on.) Is this a good idea, or should I turn it off at times and not stress about missing a call?

Thanks

Mine is on 24/7, you'll be surprised how long the battery will last especially if it it's just sitting. Fwiw mine will last 2 days with moderate usage.

if you leave your phone just like that without doing anything, it will last for very long times...with my 2g on and syncing all time and around 3 hours of call, 1 hour of gaming and around 4 hours messaging, my battery stands for a day !
i charge it only when it is just about to die and i leave it to charge all night...

Mine's on 24/7 as well. I charge it next to the bed every night as I'm sleeping.

FWIW - I run Profile Scheduler (vice Smart Actions, which I've disabled) and turn off all notifications save the phone ringer. Works well.

Charge has yet to fail to last all day - I usually have at least 40%.

Thanks for the answers. What about overall battery life? Since the battery can't be replaced easily, will this shorten overall battery life?

I'm in the "charge it when I sleep" group, too. Except when flying (typically I read or sleep, so I shut down altogether), it's on 24/7. The Maxx holds onto a charge like an alligator with lockjaw. :thumb::thumb:
