battery life

Wait, I thought of something else... If I'm not mistaken, android launches a process to scan your storage for media files. If there is a corrupted media file, the system can get stuck in a loop scanning the bad file. Did you add any music or video files lately?

No ice not added anything. I do stream Netflix from my phone to Chromecast every night.

If you have bejeweled blitz uninstall it. Keeps media server running for some reason. I would be down to 70 after 5 hours off and now I was only down to 93.

I don't have that installed. However, my battery is doing much better today. Media Server isn't running. I never figured out what it was though.

I have been running Pandora while at work a LOT lately (like 5 hours a day) and a little Youtube, and my media server is through the roof (at 22% now). I was 100% around 6am and now I'm at 50% at 3:30pm with 2 hours of screen time, so I'd say media server is crushing me as well.

I mentioned before ... from the X2 ... it was reported that it was a problem ... it seems to be a maintenance function that runs in the background checking all media ... it was reported that a person was having the problem and let it run for three days and has not seen the problem since.
