Battery life

I want to know all ways to keep my battery life at full capacity longer. I have wifi and Blue tooth of all the time. Have disabled lots of apps. But it doesn't stay on 100% very long after I turn it on and start using it.. I mainly use face book or search. .. rarely play games on it. Also what's the best app killer application ? I'm new to Samsung galaxy note 3 and and Good , useful and cool apps suggestions would be great. Thanks.

These tips work for me; they may or may not work for you.

1. If you are not using either GPS or Bluetooth, turn them off. This is easily accomplished using the pull-down notification panel. They are easily started again when you need them.

2. Keep your screen as dim as possible, while maintaining legibility. If you use your phone mostly indoors, you'll be amazed at how low you can set it. Again, use the notification panel to do this.

3. If you spend long periods of time reading an ebook or using another app that requires little Internet access, consider placing your phone into Airplane mode for that period of time.

4. I find that if I use my phone intensely for several days, I can feel the phone heating up and battery life drains rapidly. So I make it a practice to turn my phone off and then back on every couple of days.

5. Use a system tuneup tool such as All-in-One Toolbox to keep your system configured correctly. Uninstall apps you never use and configure which apps need to be launched at startup.

I hope this helps....

Thanks for the reply. I don't know how to Un install apps that came stock on the phone. . When I try it says Un installing but afterwards it shows update instead of install button telling me it didn't really Un install . I disabled those apps. Need to know how to keep apps from running in background when I'm not using them.

If you installed an app via Google Play, you should also be able to uninstall it. However, Samsung phones come with large number of apps that we can't uninstall unless we root our phones (see elsewhere in these forums for info about that).

What you CAN do, however, is keep these apps from loading at startup. An app such as All-in-One Toolbox can do that. But make sure you know that the phone doesn't require that app in order to perform correctly. Always be cautious when configuring the system. Also, read the threads in this forum about the pros and cons of killing apps.

That is what I'm afraid of. . Closing what shouldn't be closed. But if it's not an Android related app it should be OK huh? I do not know anything about rooting so I am not going there. When kit kat update is available for my phone will I have problems outta my phone if I update?

I strongly recommend browsing the other topics in this forum before doing anything eske. These topics have been discussed by others with more knowledge than I have.
