Careful, that won't work on all roms.
The file it replaces is where a LOT of changes take place, so you can pretty much expect it to break something on almost every current rom we have.

It may be just images or something minor, or it could be catastrophic (like when using Zredx or Harmonia, probably due to it modifying systemui.apk as well) but unless you are using the stock framework-res.apk, something is being broken.
I don't think anyone is using 100% stock framework in a rom except the bone stock roms.
If it doesn't work, you can easily replace the battery icon images in the framework-res.apk in the rom you are using. APK's are just zip files.
