Help Battery Not charging Help needed

My new 2days old MMX a87 has entered into a big problem.
Now eveni connect to the PC or charger the phone battery isnt charging, its just showing the graphics on the status bar but after lot time, i think i waited for a night still the battery shows same amount and the phone dies

You just need to put yyour sim into slot number 2. i've seen that problem in mine too. but it worked for me when i put my sim in slot 2 somehow
