Battery on JB.

Battery doesn't last as long on JB even with power saving on and juice defender installed. Strange thing is though that it charges from flat to fully charged in less than 2 hours, where as under ICS it took a lot longer. Any one else noticed this?

No. The exact opposite actually. This is a much better ROM for battery life than either Gingerbread or ICS, especially with the Power Saving features in Settings. (see screenshot).

Did you do a Factory Rest before or after the installation of JB as it sounds as though you have a rogue app or setting that is eating up your battery.

Sorted now thanks. It was the maps app eating the battery, had to turn off location reporting in the settings, also I de mounted the sd card in case media scanning was the culprit.

So far 50% left after 13 hours and was using it loads last night :)
