Battery overnight drops s4

[Android Question]

Hi all,

I have a Galaxy s4, tmobile version
At night, i close all the apps, and every night, i lose 40%... the battery says its the screen who drain the most. but it's always off!!
I tried everything, but i didn't root it, should i? what should i do? is it the led indicator maybe ?

I don't know what program you are using to shut your apps down with but android apps are designed to do their thing when the phone is on. If you have a manager of sorts running... the turning off of the apps and they restarting will be the majority of your battery drain.
You should not use a power manager.
