OK, there is a lot of confusion of how the percentage listed besides the different apps under the battery usage works.
It's really really simple, guys, you're trying to make it way more complicated.
Let's say I have 3 apps listed under Battery Usage:
Those percentages are not telling you how much total battery charge has been used (meaning Android OS has not used 45% of your battery full charge already).
Those numbers are saying How much of the total used charge went to each app.
IOW, if in 30 minutes, you have used 5% of your total battery charge, then (doing the math):
IOW, of the actual full 100% charge, After 30 minutes of use, you have

- Android OS has used 45% *OF* that 5% charge used
- Display has used 32% *OF* that 5% used
- Cell Standby has used 22% *OF* that 5% used.
IOW, of the actual full 100% charge, After 30 minutes of use, you have
- Android OS using 2.25% of your total battery thus far (45% of 5%)
- Display using 1.6% of your total battery charge (32% of 5%)
- Cell Standby using 1.1% of your total battery charge (22% of 5%)
