Battery Percentage...

Am I the only one that can't seem to take having that percentage turned on? I've tried it since purchasing on Sunday but I enjoy this phone SO much more with it turned off!

I don't have it turned on but it wouldn't really effect my enjoyment of the device if it was. What I'd really like is the the percentage with the circular gauge around it that I've seen in some screen shots but I'm not willing to root my phone to get it.

I definitely have to have it turned off. Can't stand seeing that number tick down. The battery icon is sufficient for me. I know when it goes yellow that it's a at 28%. Not quite sure when it goes red as in haven't let it go below yellow since Sunday. :(

You can download GSam Battery Monitor from the Play Store and in settings there is an option to show the Battery Gauge in the Notification Bar. They do have a circular gauge, no Root required.

I actually just download that app for another reason and noticed this. Is there some way to make this one replace the stock one (I Don't really want two in the notification bar).

I can understand why people like having it off. I like having mine on, as I'm a long time android user, and can tell if I have an app using more battery than it should or stuff like that. I know what I should expect from my battery though

I was just thinking the same thing today, and turned mine off, all the % tells me is exactly how little awesomeness my phone has left before its next recharge :D

Same here, after a working day I know what percentage my phone should be at roughly so I monitor any unusual behaviour going off the percentage.

I love the percentage. On my old phone, I use a battery widget to tell me the percentage. Now, I save home screen space now that I can get this info in the notifaction bar instead.
