I just bought a galaxy s 2 skyrocket. It didn't have a battery or door. So I bought a the battery and door from amazon. I got the battery and when I put it in the phone. It still had a little charge left in it. it came on so I plugged it up. that way it wouldn't go completely dead. I left it on charge for 12 hours and the battery didn't go past 2% so I left it on for 8 more hours. It was still 2% so I unplugged it to see if it would hold charge. As soon as I unplugged it the phone died. I thought it was the battery. So I sent the other battery back to amazon and got another one and I continue to have the same problem. I have cleaned the battery and the terminals. I bought 3 chargers also. None has worked. So please try and help me?!?!

It sounds like you purchased a used phone. The charging function may have gone bad. If the battery won't charge with the phone off (you will see a battery charging icon on your screen when you plug in the charger) Then the phone is bad. Your options are to replace the phone or get an external charger for the battery if one even exists.
Browse ebay - you can find a cheap charger + 1 or 2 batteries for about $10, including shipping. (or you can spend $20-$25 for a good set)
Are you sure the USB connection is good? If it's loose or fiddly, maybe you aren't getting a good connection?
