Couple weeks ago my phone(LG 4G) froze and could never turned it on again. For 15$ Metro PCS replaced the the phone with a rebuilt phone. The old battery didn't work so I bought a new one for 25$. Someone told me that possibly a short circuit in the battery killed my phone in the first place. I had that phone for 7month. Now with the "new" phone i'm having battery problems too. It was freaky when I just checked a text and 15%battery warning showed up. In less than a second the phone turned off. I plugged the phone into the charger and showed 0% battery. It is so frustrating. What could be going on? I don't want keep going through the same issue over and over again.
Is there a place where they can check for the problem? Should I get a new phone if yes which one i wouldn't have to deal with malfunctioning of the battery? I only use my phone for internet, calls, texts, and pictures.
