Battery Problem!

Hey guys I just got my s3 on Monday.

The thing is, whenever i fully charged my phone (battery percentage 100% and led turns green), and unplugged it, the battery percentage immediately shows 99%. And a minute later, it goes down to 98%.

Anyone knows what could have caused this? =/

The way charging works is that the battery receives a charge up to a point, say 100%. After it hits this mark, the current is stopped and the battery begins to discharge.

This prevents over charging of your battery. I believe it resumes charging at about 90-92%

The 100% is just the residual signal. When you disconnect your plug, the phone reads the charge remaining on your battery.

So when you looked at the reading, you were probably seeing the drop from 99% to 98%.

As long as there isn't a huge drop in battery strength in a short period, you should be okay.
