battery problem

i have got samasung galaxy ace GT-S5830i, bought on 16 august 12.

since last two days, my mobile is alternately showing battery charging and no charging mode, every two seconds, even though the mobile is not connected to battery charger at all.

i other words, my mobile notification keep showing charging and no charging mode, with a ping sound on each event.

if i keep my mobile in silent mode, then my mobile keep vibrating in every two second, while going on and off with respect to charging and no charging mode.

please help.

Hi

You may have some moisture or dirt causing a short in the UBS socket on the phone. Try blowing it out with dry air (you can get cans of compressed air for cleaning computers) and/or leave the phone packed in dr rice for a couple of days. Get a magnifying glass and have a look in the USB socket to check for dirt.

If you know anyone with the same phone, try swapping the batterries for a few minutes, it may be a faulty battery.
