Help Battery Problem

I have a Galaxy S3 from Verizon 16GB model. I've had it for about a year now. The problem I have is the phone will randomly turn off. It will be at 100% then when it reaches 97% it would just shut off. Then when I would power it back on it would be at 67% or some other weird percentage. I wasn't sure of it was the actually battery or the phone itself.

I don't know if this is relevant, but I used a DS emulator on my phone, and during that time the battery would get really hot. After that I noticed it had a decreasing battery life. (but nothing like I'm experiencing now)

Any suggestions or help you could provide would be amazing. If you need any additional information I will provide.

(I don't post in forums often so i don't know if there's a rule about repeating problems that have been posted or not.)

I think you should replace the battery, at the moment you have to recharge it so many times during the day because of the weird behavior, next it will start swelling or go off when the charger is unplugged. Its time to plan for a new battery as this one has worn out.
