Battery real nice so far!

Swtiched from the iphone to the Razr HD a week ago. Carried the HD for a week, love the build, battery and call quality of the phone. All the best I've owned so far. The camera is bad, real disappointing. My brother got the note 2 and I really like touchwiz and the camera on that so decided to switch to the sIII. Was worried about battery and reception but so far both have been great. Battery is behind great, just wondering if this will keep up.

Usually it takes about a week of usage for the battery to really hit maximum capacity and once it hits that, it takes a very very slow decline, as you know batteries get worse over usage and charging.

But i have heard great things about the S3 and battery life, if you are overly concerned buy another battery, or even maybe buy an extended battery :)

Nah, if you look at the screenshot, that's the best battery life I've gotten in a long time with a phone and I use my phone to make phone calls. Being able to replace the battery in a pinch is another reason I moved from the HD. So far so good with my return to Android.

Glad you're enjoying your S3! My battery did seem to take a little hit when I upgraded to Jelly Bean, but I think I've got it mostly sorted out now. If I can make it through a day with moderate to heavy use & still have a little left when I plug it in to charge at night, I'm happy. :)

I am not stating that your battery life isn't at maximum capacity, i am just giving you some side information ;)

I also enjoy the ability to switch out batteries, as with my GNex i have a 3800mAh extended battery :)

Welcome! It's a great phone. I also have battery life quite like that as well. Granted this was before LTE was in my area. It's gotten a little worse, but still really good. On par with my iPhone 5 I had.
