My G4 did this and I'm led to believe it's an issue with other LG flagships too.
Per chance when you take it off the charger, does it stay at 100% for what seems like an age, regardless of what you do with it, then start losing charge normally?

Does this still occur 4-5 hours after removing it from the charger?
I have a different phone, but for the first couple hours it wont show battery data. I assumed it needed sufficient stats and time to show all info.
Decided to test this after charging, after 2+ hours it still didn't display info.
Once the battery dropped to 98% then it started showing stats. Your screenshot shows 99% so maybe Android waits until the battery reaches 98%.

My battery last all day and can go into the next day. Very satisfied. Don't have to walk around with a charge anymore!
While I haven't been off a charger for more than a few hours, I am seeing very good batterly life so far. It does tend to hang out at 100% for a long time before starting to drop, but I am going to chalk that up to the LG reporting method.
I'd look into what actually is consuming your power and how you are using your G6.
