Trying to find a battery status app that replaces the factory battery indicator on the right side of the status bar.

I am not rooted.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. :)

- Install "Cool Tool" from Google Play Store

- Turn on the ICS Hack on the Advanced tab if is not already on

- Select "Run On Startup" on the Advanced tab

- Turn on the Battery Level Gauge

- Set the "Additional Panel Width" to zero on the Sliders tab

- Use the bulls-eye shaped d-pad on the Main tab to position the gauge to cover up the existing battery indicator

- On the Main tab select the Update Interval as desired.

- Use the "Additional Panel Height" and "Font Size" sliders to adjust the size

Why not try a widget such as 'Battery Solo widget' from Play store then noneed to risk messing up your phone.

Yes, a widget or an app like Cool Tool won't mess up your phone, but by improperly using root you can make a mess in a hurry.

On my phone I use the battery level display in Widgetsoid, but you have to drop down the notification list to see it.

I currently use Cool Tool to display the time and date in center of the status bar in ICS blue font large enough and bright enoughh to read easily.
