Battery suddenly draining while phone not even in use

Do you remember what apps you uninstalled? May help others.

I just checked Google Play on my desktop and whew, I can see "Other Apps in Library" which are ones you've uninstalled. Glancing through, the ones I uninstalled today were:
Agenda Widget
World Newspapers
Matrix Live Wallpaper (never had it running)
BBC News
Easy Battery Saver
Google Play Books
Kingsoft Office
PicasaTool
Stocks (Dato)
Stock Quote (Bishinews)
Words with Friends Free
Ultimate Backup

Most I just never ever used and didn't necessarily think were part of the battery drain, but anyhow there it is.

Is this of any more help to diagnose? This is post-reboot so looks different.

Wlan_rx_wake is a wifi wake lock. Using a static IP should solve it, it did for me.

Hot damn, I had a feeling. I have a WRT54GS which unfortunately has no setting in its router admin for proper static IP and doesn't jive with dd-wrt or tomato. I'll have to get a new router soon enough then. Thanks for all your help, I guess this is as much as can be gleaned at this point and it's been very helpful!

I'm going to try this and see what happens, although I have no idea what any of that wakelock stuff is.

I'm considering changing the Wifi option to turn off during sleep except when plugged in, would that save battery? (Sounds obvious but I'm wondering about it turning on and off and reconnecting each time.)

I don't think so. LTE sucks the crap out of my battery.

I have no data plan though. I think I just need to tap the wifi widget button when I'm out so it's off when I'm not home or at my office and don't need it.

Data uses more power than wifi especially if you have a bad signal, but if you have no data plan then you might as well keep mobile data turned off permanently and turn wifi off when you don't need it.

Wifi constantly scans for available networks. Bluetooth constantly scans for available devices. Turn these off when not needed and it'll help.

If you buy NFC tags or Tasker app these are two ways of simplifying the switching on/off of your various settings. Tasker let's you turn wifi on automatically when you get home and off when you leave. With an NFC tag, you would stick it to a wall in your house and hold the phone up to it, and it could turn wifi on/off.

Or you could just do it manually, but it gets a bit repetitive when you need different profiles for everything; Bluetooth in the car, wifi at work, etc. :p

This is what I've got going on. Doesn't seem right. Not sure what this wake lock thing is either. For both screenshots I did not use the phone once for a full hour.

A 3% drain after 1 hour 7 minutes on 4G is nothing to worry about.

Download an app that turns data off when the screen is off if you want better battery life than that.

Cool thanks. Should I be worried about the wake lock?

I would say no because the battery drain isn't too severe. If you're unhappy with the battery life then it's worth looking into.

I suspect those deleted_wake_locks are something to do with the cell radio, as you're connected to 4G. I usually have a "multipdp" wakelock near the top related to cell usage, but you don't have that. It was probably multipdp before it got deleted.

I've uninstalled better battery stats because my battery is good enough and it's easy to get obsessed with this stuff :p
