Help Battery temperature on Milestone

Hi Board,

I have the battery monitor app on my phone and noticed that when using the phone, it appeared to be quite warm.

I went into the battery monitor app and it reported that the temperature was 40 degrees!

To me this seems to be rather warm - can any other users advise what sort of temperature their phone tends to operate at and if i should be worried by a 40 degree battery?

My phone works just fine and manage the 40 grad without problems - when I play games or I use the GPS with GMaps... but normaly the temperature stays between 28 and 32 degrees.

I noticed that my telus milestone gets very hot when downloading data over 3g or wifi. The area around the battery get pretty hot
