Help battery temperature?

What is your average battery temperature? When in use (surfing the web, etc.)? It seemed like the first few days my unit stayed pretty cool but now it is getting a little warm after only a few minutes use. It can get as cool as 28C when not in use, but has gotten over 40C with lite surfing/use. Normal?

I have looked at all my apps and nothing seems to be running out of the ordinary. The only thing I am not sure of is in the app "spare parts" under network usage I have a top bar that says "0" and it is full. When I try to click on it for more info it force closes. Does everyone have this (is it normal) or is it something I need to check into further? Anyone know?

I had a very hot battery issue the 2nd day I had Evo. I brought it back to BB and he updated my PRL (?) . He said there was an issue with the SD card trying to run apps continually - again (?) Since then no problem-yet. OH! It got hot when I had the phone in stand-by only.

I updated my prl yesterday so I don't think that is it. Should I update it again, just in case, or will that mess something up?

how much in F? mine is usually anywhere from 80F - 110F tops

I just check F on my phone and 33C is 91F, so you seem to be doing pretty well. I would think 44C would be 130-140F or somewhere around there.

ya plus i read somewhere that batteries can heat up to like 155f before they would shut down to avoid damage.

I've long thought I Have an overheating problem, but my temps never get higher than 101F. I'm trying out a new battery now. I'm guessing it is certainly possible that a defective battery could develop a short under temperature sooner than it is supposed to. Maybe even more so considering how many times it's been dropped..

Anyone else?

I have gone back to a stock factory rom with no task managers/etc to troubleshoot this issue. It appears to only happen with it gets close to 100f or over. An usually I'm running the wireless tether, or using the phone outside in the sun, on the beach or around my girlfriend..
