I've noticed several times during the day that when I go to use my phone after several hours of inactivity there has been significant battery usage, like a drop of 20 or 30 percentage points.
When I check "battery usage" in Settings it says the culprit is GPS. Problem is that unless I'm actually using Google Maps I always have Location Services turned off.
What app(s) can be using GPS without my permission or knowledge?
