Battery usage

I bought the samsung galaxy s advance one monthe ago and im very pleased with it. But it seems it is draining faster then it did when I just got it. Normally I had like 40-50 % left after a day of medium usage, now I only have 10-15 % battery left with the same usage.

I deleted some apps I recently installed to see if they caused the problem, but I haven't noticed any difference. In the battery usage menu it says that 'Android system' is draining the battery the most. It didnt show up as high on this list in the beginning as it shows up now.

What can I do to get my battery last longer again? Even when not using it loses like 10 % per hour?

Download better battery stats and post a screenshot of that here.

That will give us a better idea of what's causing the battery drain. You'll need to recharge and discharge the phone again after you've installed BBS otherwise it won't have any stats to show.

I restarted my phone and now its on 84 % for already an hour :o normally it would have drained 10 %. I will see if this fixed it and otherwise ill buy that better battery stats app.

I will let you guys know :) thnx already for the help.

The battery life may just depend on how you use the phone, for some it might not last a day but for same it would last enough. The reason for that the phone has applications running despite not being used another is that the performance of the phone is set to maximum, hence will require much battery. try to close some apps and reduce the brightness of your screen to extend the battery life of your phone, another turn it on sleep when not being used. check out also this link for other the update on droid firmware and battery life Battery drain and overheating problem with Samsung Galaxy S3. | Techyv.com
