Battery use

My Samsung Galaxy Ace GT-S5830i has a very short battery use time. According to settings, 46% is being used when phone is idle and 47% when cell is in standby. This looks to me as if there is an excessive drain on the battery when my phone is not in use. It is a TalkTalk mobile and uses the Vodaphone network. My downloads are all done via wi-fi.
Have I got my settings wrong?

I would install two apps to determine what is causing the drain:

Gsam battery monitor

And

Wakelock detector

Both free from playstore and much better than the built in settings monitor.
