BATTERY USEAGE

All of a sudden my battery is needing to be charged daily and the usage is showing android os using 10% and cell standby 7% the 2 top users. What could be causing the OS to be eating up the battery, when it sits most of the day on my desk.

Did you Wipe Cache Partition deleting all temporary data and not touching permeate data, settings, or installed apps?

If yeas and the problem remains ... try running in Safe Mode disabling all apps you added without uninstalling them.

Same boat. But Clean Master is high up the the list. cache part cleared. Seems to keep coming back.

I'm not sure what you arte saying. If you are using Clean Master I highly recommenbd that you remove Clean Master and all other produts from them. There are thousands of posts here with the logic fort doing it. The information they report is randomly made up and "share" information about your device.

For me, it was the Boingo app. Like two weeks ago, Boingo just started acting up. Had to uninstall it. I know it wasn't on your list of top culprits, but for me, it just started for no reason.

The other obvious one is that your wifi or LTE signal degraded for some reason. Weaker signals eat up battery like crazy.
