I don't know if this issue is particular to the Galaxy Tab2 or Android ICS in general, but I am simply staggered that you can't disable the low battery warning beeps of an Android tablet.
The damn thing is soo loud and soo annoying, the only way to kill it is to install a 3rd party app like Sound Manager or remove the lowbattery.ogg file after you have 'root'ed your version of Android.
Can't wait for the overly loud BEEPbeepBEEPbeep next time my battery gets below 16%

Are you sure there isn't any setting for turning these warnings off? I hope someone can help you better than myself.
