Unfortunately, it happens. You might have a battery that has gone bad. Try replacing it and see if the new one does the same thing. Also, stop in to your device's support forum for some tips on how to get more power out of your battery. (Btw) Welcome to Android Forums.

P.s You can get some cheap batteries on EBay or Amazon.com
