Help Battery

Just whacking this out in a hurry on my phone hence why I have not done an intricate search if the site yet but just wondering if my experience of battery life is a one off.

I bought an S3 yesterday. Charged it overnight. Left it alone when unplugged and connected it to wifi and it lost about 4% in half an hour of doing nothing.

It has been used moderately since and is now down to 43% on 5 hrs usage.

I've not installed any rogue apps that I know of as all the ones I have, I had on my s2 without issue.

Screen is on auto brightness, powersaving is on etc and live wallpapers off. The battery settings app says the majority of expenditure has been on screen and cell standby.

Am I going mad or is this a common issue? I had an S2 with a 1900mah extended battery and that was a dream. This seems to be even worse than my iPhone 4S and that is saying something.

Does the battery bed in after a few charges or is that just an old wives' tale?

Thanks in advance.

Phil

Go on Settings - Battery, and do a screenshot and post it here. The cell standby percentage is misleading, it's incorrect. The screen sure is taking a lot of battery, but that is due to the size of it.
