BBC iplayer on S3

This question is for UK users. I've been downloading tv programmes from the BBC I Player to watch offline. However, for some reason I can only watch for about 20 mins before the player resets. I can pick up where I left off and so watch the entire programme . However it's a bit annoying as it requires 3 resets to get through a one hour programme. I guess it's some kind of memory issue but I don't have a similar problem with downloads from other sites like 4OD

Tbh i havent tried the new download function but i will tomorrow.
Read through all the play store reviews to see if its common or only the s3 :thumbup:

Indeed they do. Been that way for a couple of months now.

I'm going to try uninstalling the iplayer app then reinstall it and see if that fixes the problem.

Do you download the high def files or just the standard def. I use high def but I might try standard to see if it makes a difference.
