bbci player

I have Just bought a Galaxy 10.1 running android 3.1 kernel version 2.6.36.3.When I installed bbci player from the market it said 'this phone is not currently supported' I have tried reinstalling it, to no avail.Flash player 11 comes preinstalled so I am perplexed - any ideas ?

I won't bother installing the BBC iPlayer app until it supports downloading (like My Player and Beebplayer did).

Are you sure that the Galaxy Tab comes with Flash Player already installed? I thought I had to install it from the Marketplace myself.

It depends which web view you are using. I use dolphin browser and switch between desktop and android view for various reasons. When i am in desktop view i get the same message, i switch to android and iplayer works fine.

The problem was with Firefox, as soon as I downloaded Dolphin HD, and stopped Firefox being the default browser I was in business. What is the difference between Desktop and Android screens? Maybe if I had tried switching in Firefox it would have worked there.I'm pleased with Dolphin though, it has some good features, but I also need Firefox for the thousands of bookmarks I imported with it.
Thanks for your helpful replies.

simply desktop mode alows you to view web as if on a pc and android mode reduces some websites in a way similar to viewing on a phone (optimises)
