Beats impatience

I sent in defective beats earbuds right before Memorial day, nearly 2 months ago. I have received nothing.

I have called twice and each time they have said they are on back order, and they have no idea when they will get new ones in.

This is not acceptable. I already got $10 earbuds I use now that aren't as good but are a close second, and are far better than skull candy that were my old backups.

My plan is to call next week after my vacation that I'm about to fly out for, and ask for a supervisor. I will tell them my situation and once they confirm they haven't shipped my replacements, I will give them options.

1. Give me an approximate shipping date for my replacements.

2. Cancel my order and send me a paid voucher so I can go buy them myself.

3. Cancel my order, and give me a check for $10.10, which is what I paid Fedex to send them my defective earbuds and cancel my order.

This isn't worth my time anymore!

Anyone have any ideas? I an going through HTC right now.

I'm in the same boat. Sent them back via Fed Ex and they were received 5-30-2012. I have called weekly and have heard everything from they are being held up in customs, to we havent a clue when they will be in stock. They now have had my earbuds longer than I did. If you get any farther with a supervisor please post and let me now so I can follow suit. Good luck!

my headphones are broken too and i still have to send mine back to get fixed...hopefully it doesnt take long... OP did you get yours back yet?

WOW.. I called today and was told they havent had any since 6-1-2012.. I asked that supervisor call me back...waiting ...waiting

Still waiting for a supervisor to call me...LOL however the staus on-line of my backorder has changed to "getting ready to ship"...interesting....Ill keep you posted.

Hey guys. I posted this in another forum in response to the same problem:

i'm still waiting too; on back-order since June 19th :(

OK so I just went through a whole thing with HTC, and had to escalate my replacement ticket because they lost the buds I sent in. But the point is that when they finally set them to ship yesterday my status showed as back ordered. This afternoon I got a call from the tier 2 specialist that I was working with and she told me they were showing as being prepared to ship. I told her that they were backordered and she told me that there was some kind of glitch in the system about these buds that might need to be manually fixed, but that they were in fact going to ship out today or tomorrow. Sure enough, I checked a few minutes ago and my status shows as preparing to ship! Maybe those who have statuses of backordered should call and try to escalate the ticket. Keep in mind that a regular rep told me minutes before the specialist called that the buds were backordered. It appears that they are unaware at that level. For what it is worth, I spoke with Tier 2 specialist Evelyn. Hope this helps someone!

FYI I received mine on Thursday!

I received an e-mail that mine FINALLY shipped and are scheduled to be delivered tomorrow (7-31-2012).

This is from a post I just did a couple days ago. I copied it to here so you can see it and not have to look at that thread.

I sent in my defective Beats earbuds on May 27th, and they were shipped the day after Memorial day. After calling them, they wanted me to send mine in first, and so I spent $10.10 including envelope to do that and this way they didn't have my credit card on file.

I went through HTC (because of a suggestion I read here) and called twice a couple weeks apart within the first month and was told each time they are on back order and they had no idea when they would come in. Finally on July 30th I got an email saying they were shipped!

Last Friday the 4th by "end of day" according to UPS tracking they were due for delivery.

That day I received 3 calls from a 1-866 number but they didn't leave a voicemail. I Googled it and found it was HTC. I thought it was an address confirmation call, or even an apology for the wait, so I called them that night.

I waited on hold 20 minutes just to find out they have no idea why they called me except maybe a customer satisfaction survey! The lady even told me she's never seen an accessory order take that long.

They asked my permission to call again for a customer service survey, I said yes but I won't answer if I'm at work when they call again. They did call one more time, probably for that but I was unable to answer.

Finally, yesterday the 6th of August I got my package from UPS. I am still very unhappy that it didn't make it Friday because Saturday morning the date pushed back to Monday! Those lazy people at the UPS location in my city let it sit there all weekend even though it was their fault it didn't make it on time. They should have apologized and delivered Saturday!

Anyhow , my ordeal is finally over. A guy at a gadget store said to go directly through beats not HTC. I suggest you do the same or expect a long wait.
