beautiful widgets problem...

My rooted d2g wont show the clock/weather/battery skin at all. I can get it to give me the temp in the notification bar but thats it. Can anyone think of anything obvious that Im doing wrong or that I have set wrong?

If you long press the home screen, can you select widgets>beautiful home weather? Keep in mind, there must be enough room on your home screen to place it.

I can get it to bring up the individual weather/clock skins but it doesnt look like one well put together widget like the illustrations would suggest...
