Been confused about an icon

In my notification tray there is always what looks like a spinning sun, and I have no idea what it means. Also, sometimes, there's something that I finally figured out is called smart watch (I think?), looks like an eye ball something. But I don't know what that is either and never lasts longer than a second before going away again.

Anyone know about either of these?

The "spinning sun" sounds like the LTE Spark icon. The other sounds like Smart Screen or Smart Video, which keeps the screen on when the phone detects your face and pauses video when the phone cannot detect your face.

Smart screen for videos doesn't work for me, but the one that tracks my eyes and keeps my screen on works for me.

That's really funny, because it's the opposite for me. Except the video only works with play videos, which I hate and uninstalled

So what's the spark icon for?

To let you know you're on lte. Spark is the newest and fastest version of lte, but it's not available everywhere unfortunately.

Is there any tweak app to make it go away? I've customized my notification tray quite a bit, but would like to get rid of the LTE and spark icons

Why would you want to get rid of the thing that shows you what data mode you're on and if it's transmitting? O.o

Gravity Box has a setting to change its appearance, but I don't think you can get rid of it entirely.

No you can't, I have gravity box and wanted to do that. I do however have my clock set to change color to show the status of my data connection, which makes the spark icon redundant

Then what is this?
Sure looks like an option to change its appearance to me.

That must only be available on the Boost Mobile version, I can't seem to find a setting to change it on the Virgin Mobile version. :(
