Been looking for an app....

I'm looking for an app that I can add prices for items into. Just a simple database of items and prices, but can't seem to find one. I don't need the fancy scan the barcode and search the internet stuff. I just want to be able to add a new item and then the price of that item at 3 or 4 different stores. This will be used for grocery shopping and building a list of items and the cheapest places I've seen them.

Any help?

Or maybe someone is inclined enough to use that sweet android inventor app and make me one. I'd be most gracious.

What about using a Google Spreadsheet? Google Docs can not be edited by a mobile device - app might not even be needed.

How do you create/what is a google spreadsheet? I looked in Quickoffice and it won't let me create anything. I just asks to search for one. Is this an app I can download?

I assume you have a Google Account in order to use your phone? If so go to docs.google.com on a computer and create a spreadsheet with what information you need and then you can access that on your phone through the web browser and update/view as needed.

Oh, gotcha. That is a route that I will take if I have to. I'd prefer to have an app on my phone that I can input the data into when I'm at the store, instead of trying to remember it later. Cause that hasn't worked yet. I also don't wish to look at the reciept and filter through all the BS that prints out on there. But still an alternative, if I can't get something else working. Thanks for the input.

with a Google Spreadsheet you can do just that. You use your phones internet browser to pull up the google spreadsheet and enter the data on your phone while at the store.....

You do not always need an app for something as there are mobile versions of websites available that act just like a app

try pulling up google docs on your phone and you will see a mobile version....

You can edit description/price/quantity, add categories, add photos and scan barcodes.
Gives varying totals too.
And free...
