This isn't an Android specific issue. I have a Samsung Nexus S with ICS 4.0.4. My friend spilled beer on my phone yesterday at the bar. After dryig it, the phone was still working, the camera was a little buggy at first but now it's working fine.
The only problem now is the USB port. When I plug my phone, it charges but there is no lightning bolt or any indicator that tells me it's actually charging. Also, when I plug it in my computer, nothing happens, and this is a major issue because my phone does not have removable storage, so I need to plug it in directly to transfer stuff. Could the problem be the contacts in the USB port that are still stuck in dry beer and could explain why it's not working properly? :dong:
Thanks!
