Before you get 2.1 OTA, help us get it manually

so cus of school i havent been postin much but have been lurking hardcore cus of 2.1 and root updates...who could help themselves... lol

anyways before anyone else gets their 2.1 OTA, please do us all an altruistic favor

1)Deny the OTA update when the phone prompts you, dont worry you can manually get this later.
2) Install the SDK and ADB on your computer and run the command

adb -d logcat UpdateReceiver:I CheckinService:I *:S

3)It will shoot out a link, POST IT and we can then download the RUU for our own use, including distribution to all of us who haven't got the update via OTA.

PLEASE, this would really help hundreds, if not thousands of people who have been itching to get this update for weeks. Thanks to zifnab06 from XDA on instructions on how to obtain the link.
