Root Beginner flashing advice

I have the GlazedJellyBean 1.1.2 can someone give me a step by step of the installation procedure as I'm completely new to custom roms.
I have root access & am currently on stock I also have the ROM manager pro app.
I'm kinda familiar with the procedure but am a bit nervous of screwing things up & would appreciate some guidance.

Thanks.

Do you have a custom recovery yet? If so you should boot into it and take a nandroid backup, then copy that to pc. If you have that you basically have a golden ticket back to your current install if anything goes wrong. I don't have time for a step by step on that but search xda, there's at least a dozen there.

Good luck :)

Edit: you could look up wugs toolkit and do a backup with that, idk if it's a nandroid but it's the same principle and you can save directly to your pc, which is necessary since your data will be reset and there's no sd card to place the backup.
But this is just in case you're dreading flashing the recovery, you'll need to do that anyway tho to flash a custom rom. But this is a way to backup before even flashing that.

I would personally suggest doing things manually from the recovery menu and not using an app like ROM manager. That may not be what you want to hear after purchasing it, but at least you should know how to do it manually on case something happens. That app can't help you if you are stuck in a boot loop.

As far as directions, you'll want to backup your apps and data using an app like titanium backup, creating a nandroid backup(from recovery), and then transferring those to your computer for safe keeping.

ROM flashing directions should be in the thread where you got the ROM from. General directions are wiping dalvik cache, cache, factory reset and then flashing the ROM
