Behold 2 Price Drop

Tmonews.com said it's only $79.99 until the 15th of this month and through Tmobile only, of course. After the sale ends letstalk.com should still be the cheapest for new lines of service. Don't know for sure what the price is right now, but not too long ago their price was wait for it...FREE!

Just checked the site for s**ts and giggs and yup its still FREE on letstalk.com! And no activation fee as well! The Tmo price is by far the best for upgraded lines, though, during this sale.

I am hoping that all of this maneuvering is indicative of an update being dropped. Activity usually means something is afoot, LOL - I said long ago that they should have matched the Eris/Hero price wars at Christmas, but they didn't honor us with a price drop then. So now they are showing some Valentine love, LOL

If you look further down on the page someone posted this...

"Brandon says: February 13, 2010 at 11:40 am The Even More Plus Price is $309.99 Also our Samsung rep confirmed that the Behold II is getting a firmware update next month. I tried to get the version but he wouldn’t tell me. Just that they will have their update out before Motorola gets theirs out for the Cliq"

Wow, if this is true.

Please to god let it be true but even if its a firmware update what if its not an "android" update? that would suxx

I wonder how many sales T-Mo and Samsung generated for the Behold II with the price drop?

I, for one, ordered mine Monday and it should be in my hand today. Switching over from Blackberry after two years.

I ended up getting mine for $60 with a free bluetooth headset, it was listed at $80 on the site at the time. I used the AAA discount for my plan and called that line to order, so it might be related to that. I thought it only waived the activation and gave month to month discount though. It was a nice surprise when the rep said "and that's for $59.99, correct?".

I really like the phone except for the obvious 1.5 shortcoming. I really want to use USAA's Deposit@Mobile, but it only works on 1.6 and up :(
