not really, its not for that purpose

I can confirm that this works as advertised, but without a rooted rom, doesn't seem to allow for much. So far none of the root specific apps I've tried work, but then again I'm sure I'm missing something.

Don't we need a terminal emulator or a su whitelist app or something to run rooted apps?

I did this, it worked fine until I had to reset the phone, after i shut it off then back on, I could no longer su
