This might be stupid question but the phone must be activated to become a tester right? cant we just bypass the google login??

Nope it doesnt have to be activated

yes, you can bypass the google activation. simply touch all four corners starting at the top left and go around clock-wise

You don't even have to do that. I just go through it normally. I just can't add a Google account until I connect to wifi.

I just do the four corner trick, then connect to WiFi then add my Google account
