Root Bell Atrix - how to flash back to stock

Newbie
Hey guys,

i got my Atrix as soon as it came out on Bell and i rooted it and did the webtop hack immediately. As a result, i never did any updates. Recently my phone started getting really choppy so i tried to "unroot" with the gladroot gui. i then did a factory reset on the phone, but when i try updating to 2.3 i always get the android/triangle/exclamation mark screen.

I'm guessing i have to flash my phone back to stock? How do i do that? I really want to get 2.3 on my atrix!!!

thanks

There appear to be a lot of hastily posted, poorly written, "answers" for how to unroot a phone. And most of them are a little slack about telling you exactly which phone, which OS, which root mod was used and what combinations will work--or slag the phone.

I've got a similar problem and I need some plain YnGlitch help as I'm not a *nix jockey. I have other skills. The instructions that came with the software I used (which was highly endorsed) don't work for unrooting.

So...pick a slow weekend, go to your carrier's "technical center" and explain a sympathetic story about what odd things your phone is doing, how you can't do the magic rewipe-reload on it, beg for a little compassion and they often will simply replace the phone for you. Apparently when the phone all go home to Moto, someone there knows how to do a true reset of them--they just don't want to tell anyone else how to do it.

Write down or screenshot your apps, backup what or if you can. Goodby Angry Birds so many *** levels, and just do it. Wipe the phone, exchange it.

Root makes sense, Root shuld work. But right now? Too many folks are tossing out solutions that just haven't been tested very extensively, leaving a lot of collateral damage without intending to. And without being able to fix it, either.
