I contacted Bell to know when to expect any update for the frimewire from .3 to at least .4 and here a copy of my chat:

So, I bought the SGS2 and I was wondering if you know when the firewire update for the phone will be available? Bc, elswhere the version 2.3.5 is already out since couple of week and we are still at version: 2.3.3
