I contacted Bell to know when to expect any update for the frimewire from .3 to at least .4 and here a copy of my chat:

So, I bought the SGS2 and I was wondering if you know when the firewire update for the phone will be available? Bc, elswhere the version 2.3.5 is already out since couple of week and we are still at version: 2.3.3

you: Hum, .. other phone companies like Bell ask their client to go thru there own update not go via Samsunapps.. But Ill transfer that info to my others friends.. hopefully they will have a answer. Thanks anyway

we wont get it any time soon. im also from bell canada... just update via odin. the wait is too long. by then ice cream sandwich probably out for galaxy s2 when 2.3.4 is out for canada.
