Help bell - data network switches between H and 3G

i have a samsung galaxy s from bell, i'm in windsor, ont. my data icon never stays on 3g, switches to H all the time, shows 3g for a second or so that's it.

is this normal or should it stay on 3g?

i have android 2.2

It is normal. It shows what data signal you are getting. H is better than 3g.
