Help benchmark result after 2.3.4

i use antutu benchmark
when i was 2.3.3 i have always top other s2 in scores
now after the update i'm always below other s2 scores

does anyone know if 2.3.4 did this?

ok i found out that i'm getting killed on the sd write speed, which was set to internal
did the new patch slow down sd card write speed? i'm getting less than 10mbps

Have you got "System Power Saving" switched on ? Settings --> Power Saving.

Probably but don't dwell on benchmarks, they'll drive you mad. Just concentrate on real world performance. The benchmark score really doesn't matter at all as long as the phone works to an acceptable standard, does it?

yea i am just paranoid that the new firmware actually slow me down instead of speed me up

I think the Power Saving setting slows things down to save battery life. This could be why you are getting slower benchmarks since the update.

I haven't noticed any slowdowns (besides the new Market vs. the old Market).

the new market is always slow no matter wut firmware u have, i'm just looking at the benchmark results

3G = 5 seconds to open Market and another 6 seconds to open My Apps

so ur wifi actually works faster
for me 3g works faster than wifi i have no clue why
some say it's my router's firewall

According to Speedtest.net app, free from the Market my speeds are...

WiFi = Download 9.36Mbs Upload 0.52Mbs

3G/HSDPA = Download 4.40Mbs Upload 2.81Mbs

Yeah that's what I was thinking. I've never had a problem with the new market.

3.1.5 isn't slow for me but it's slower than the old 2.x.x versions for me.

Speed is acceptable though

The new market is flashier with more graphics hence probably more data. I find it slower than the previous one as well.

Wifi and 3G speed is rather subjective depending on firewalls, coverage, usage, time, traffic etc. So if slow in one place, go find another. HEHE

The new, new, Market (v3.2.0) is even faster on my handset than 3.1.5!
